Our household is unique in that both my husband and I have bipolar disorder. While some days can be more of a juggle/struggle than others, I think we’re pretty darn good parents if I do say so myself. Our kids are pretty rad, not to mention extraordinarily silly and deceptively observant.
A little over a year and a half ago, the girls and I did a fun little guessing game together, and I happened to stumble on the answers today. Their answers, Evie at age 4 and Lily at 9, are quite amazing. Read what they wrote and then try this game with your kids!

Evie: You’re going to time out.
Lily: Maa-tt! (My husband’s name.)

Lily: When we have to go to funerals (Unfortunately, my husband’s uncle, his grandfather, and his cousin along with my stepmom and my dad all passed away within a few months of one another. It was a hard year.)
